Mark Skipalis serves as the Director of Construction for JLM Living, where he leads the development and execution of high-quality residential communities across the Southern United States. With more than 22 years of experience in multifamily real estate construction, he specializes in project oversight, feasibility analysis, and construction management, ensuring every development meets JLM’s rigorous standards. His ability to navigate complex build processes, optimize design strategies, and oversee large-scale developments has made him an invaluable leader in the industry.
Over the course of his career, Mark has played a pivotal role in the construction of more than 25,000 residential units, spanning mid-rise buildings, wrap-style developments, mixed-use communities, traditional garden-style apartments, and build-to-rent single-family neighborhoods. His extensive regional expertise includes overseeing major projects across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. Before joining JLM, he held key leadership positions at prominent real estate firms such as Crow Holdings & Trammell Crow Residential, Trinsic Residential, CF Jordan Contractors, and First Worthing Companies, where he gained deep expertise in multifamily development and investment-driven construction strategies.
Mark holds a degree in Construction Management & Business Development from Texas A&M University-Commerce. A long-time resident of Dallas, TX, he is actively involved in his community, supporting local initiatives, attending city council meetings, and advocating for thoughtful urban growth. His passion lies in developing projects that not only deliver long-term value but also contribute positively to the communities they serve.
