Larry Meyer is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with over 45 years of leadership experience across finance, real estate, franchising, and investment sectors, both in the U.S. and internationally. As Co-Founder & Chairman of JLM Financial Partners, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s long-term investment strategy, overseeing a diverse portfolio spanning real estate, consumer brands, biotechnology, and hospitality. His ability to identify market opportunities and strategically position businesses for growth has made him a respected leader in private investment. 

Since 1978, Larry has been at the forefront of luxury real estate development in Texas, with landmark projects such as The Plaza at Turtle Creek in Dallas. In 1992, he launched JLM Financial Investments, an asset-based investment platform specializing in secured loan acquisitions and real estate investments. His expertise in navigating financial cycles has been instrumental in capitalizing on key market opportunities, particularly during economic downturns from 1992–1994 and 2008–2011. 

Beyond real estate, Larry has been a driving force behind investments in health, wellness, entertainment, and recreation, with a hands-on approach to portfolio management. He serves as Chairman or Board Member for several high-profile ventures, including Sports Entertainment Asia, which leads Topgolf development in Greater China (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau), and TG SEA Development, which expands Topgolf across six Southeast Asian countries (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines). His leadership also extends to real estate development through JLM Living and JLM Luxury, biotech innovation with JLM ExoGrade, and lending platforms such as Cultivated Lending. Previously, he was a key player in the growth of United Planet Fitness Partners, which became the largest Planet Fitness franchisee with 170+ locations before its record-breaking sale in 2019. 

Committed to giving back, Larry has served on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club for over 25 years and continues to contribute as a Foundation Board Member. Based in Jupiter, FL and Jackson, WY, he and his wife, Lynn, have been married for 39 years. Together, they have raised three children and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren.
