Chris Votaw, co-founder of JLM Living and Partner at JLM Financial Partners, brings 17+ years of expertise in real estate investment, financial analysis, and mergers & acquisitions. Since joining JLM in 2010, he has been pivotal in driving the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio expansion. His skills encompass financial analysis, underwriting, asset management, due diligence, and leading capital raises, collaborating closely with lenders and financial partners to advance JLM’s ventures. He has also spearheaded mergers and acquisitions, ensuring flawless deal execution, and co-manages investor relations. 

Chris oversees JLM’s investment portfolio, ensuring its financial stability and strategic growth. He has served as a Board Advisor or Member for several JLM portfolio companies and was formerly a Real Estate Committee Member for United PF Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchisee, prior to JLM’s successful exit. With extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate, he excels in underwriting, asset management, sales, multi-unit transactions, and acquisitions, supported by strong market research and financial analytics capabilities. 

Chris holds a B.A. in Business Administration with honors from Concordia University. He lives in Jupiter, Florida, with his wife, Jessica, and their three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys family moments and golfing.
